My take on still life photography. Inspired by a friend who does a lot of still life photography and some gorgeous peaches from Cook's Roadside Market in Edgefield, South Carolina. Can you scream...peach ice cream!!!

Amidst the tall pines, flowering dogwoods and blooming azaleas, southern charm permeates the air at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Founded by Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts, the course opened for play in 1932 and has been home to the Masters Golf Tournament since 1934.

A white snowy egret stands amidst green foliage, the wind ruffling its feathers gives it a slightly disheveled appearance. Its bright yellow eyes and sharp beak contrast with its pristine white plumage while the bird balances itself on a cluster of leaves with its long black legs and distinctive yellow feet. I call this the "Einstein" pose! The photograph was taken at the bird rookery located at the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, Florida.

A serene waterfall cascades over a curved cliff face surrounded by lush greenery and foliage. The water splashes into a small pool at the bottom, sending up a mist that catches the sunlight filtering through the trees.
